S-35710/20 Series Convenience Timer ICs for Automotive Use

These devices compare the timer value and the value written to the internal register and then output an interrupt signal when the values match each other.

The S-35710M timer is a 24-bit binary-up counter; the internal register data can be set freely by users via a two-wire serial interface. The time before the occurrence of an interrupt signal can be set freely. Since these devices have a built-in quartz crystal, a matching assessment of the IC and the quartz crystal is unnecessary. They are available in a TMSOP-8 package.

    • S-35710 series is settable on the second time scale from one second to 194 days (approximately half a year)
    • S-35720 series is settable interrupt time, selectable as the option on the second time scale from one second to 194 days (approximately half a year)

  • Low current consumption: 0.2 µA typ. (crystal oscillator: Cl = 6 pF, VDD = 3.0 V, TA = +25°C)
